The Buraimoh Afinni family in Lagos State has called on the state government to create an avenue for aborigine families of Lagos to tell their stories and archive them as a piece of history. This, the family said, yesterday, would help to preserve the history and prevent any untoward displacement of the original indigenes and their ancestral history. The family took this stand during a media briefing organised to celebrate the 110th posthumous anniversary of their progenitor, Buriamoh Afinni. According to Dr Oluyomi Finnih, who is the current head of the family, and a member of the Governance Advisory Council
