Nigerian midfielder Ebenezer Akinsanmiro has joined Serie B side Sampdoria on loan from Inter Milan. The reigning Serie A champions confirmed Akinsanmiro‘s transfer in a statement on Friday. “FC Internazionale Milano announces the loan transfer of Ebenezer Akinsanmiro to Sampdoria,” the statement read. “The midfielder, born in 2004, joins the Ligurian side on a temporary basis with an option and counter-option.“ Akinsanmiro started playing professionally for Remo Stars in 2020 and was part of the team that gained promotion from the Nigeria National League (NNL) to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) at the end of the 2020–21 season.
