UK Connect has overseen the network transformation of Smart City high-rise development in Woking, Harrington Place
Built by property developer ThamesWey, Harrington Place covers a 493 square metre area and consists of 148 self-contained flats for rent.
Optimal network connectivity for residents
Spanning a huge physical space, ThamesWey needed to leverage optimal network connectivity to provide residents with high-speed Internet and drive improvements across the Smart City development.
There were many elements to consider, including ensuring that all the direct smart systems across the entire site were connected within a series of closed networks and able to ‘talk’ to each other.
Enhance the home experience
Establishing a closed multi-gigabit mmWave Point-to-Point network with strong, uninterrupted signal, UK Connect’s solution was able to enhance the home experience, offering high speeds of up to 20Gbps.
This collaboration reinforces UK Connect’s commitment to providing the connectivity cornerstone for the UK construction industry, enabling residents at Harrington Place to enjoy reliable, uninterrupted, superfast broadband.
