Starting today, 23/09, Heat Pump Week has begun across the UK, boosting awareness and progress in this sustainable heating technology

23-29 September is Heat Pump Week, an initiative started by Green.TV Media and Plug Me In, in the wake of this year’s first Heat Pump Summit.

The week will consist of several announcements and events, including an event in Manchester City Centre.

A sustainable heating method

Heat pumps are a method of heating that are getting more popular.

The key event of the week, running 27-28 September, is an activation event in Manchester City Centre, close to Piccadilly Gardens and raising consumer awareness.

The week will also feature three roundtable discussion events, livestreamed on LinkedIn, about working towards mass adoption of the technology at scale, and sustainably rolling out the technology for local authorities and housing associations.

It is hoped that these events throughout the week will unite businesses, governmental bodies, and local authorities to make sustainable heating solutions more affordable as well as raise consumer awareness.
