Quelfire has announced that they will be moving to new premises in Wardle, Cheshire, in late October 2024
We’re pleased to announce that we’ve secured a new office at Unit 4 Spitfire Road, Cheshire Green Industrial Estate, Wardle, CW5 6HT. The new Quelfire premises features a modern layout with spacious work areas, meeting rooms, and break-out facilities.
For those who have visited our Sandbach office, the move is just a short 25-minute drive away. And much to our team’s delight, it’s only a 10-minute drive from Snugburys—Cheshire’s iconic ice cream farm.
Team Orange will be making the move in late October, 2024
As the team and business grow here at Quelfire, the move accommodates space requirements and works as a future-proof initiative. This will enable us to continue our mission of protecting people and property, while ensuring we can meet the demands of today and tomorrow even more efficiently.
The new office has many benefits for both our staff and customers, addressing our current growth needs safely, while providing more space, enhanced facilities, and improved sustainability measures.
The new Quelfire premises offer more space and better facilities
One of the main reasons for the relocation is the need for more space, both inside and outside the building. Our new site is over four times bigger than our Sandbach office, providing more off-road parking and dedicated areas for loading and unloading heavy goods vehicles.
Currently, we have separate warehouses that store some of our products, but the move allows us to bring more of our stock under one roof and despatch orders from one site. This increased capacity streamlines production and stocking processes, making it easier to meet customer demands while allowing for future expansion.
Cliff Williams, warehouse supervisor at Quelfire, said: “The new site is going to make a big difference for us in the warehouse. Having all our ready-to-ship stock in one place will make everything quicker and easier. Plus, the extra space for parking and loading will help keep things running smoothly and safely for everyone.”
Furthermore, one crucial aspect is ensuring staff are looked after. With more restrooms, planned break-out areas for the team to unwind, and the introduction of different workspaces, like private soundproof pods and collaborative spaces, the new office caters to all needs.
Dedicated training spaces supporting virtual and in-person sessions
Protecting people and property through providing tested solutions and educating the industry is what we do best at Quelfire.
Our new facility offers more space for online and in-person meetings, including a dedicated training area with more demo boards as a benchmark for compliant installations.
These extra resources will support us in continuing to educate the industry and collaborating with like-minded construction professionals.
The new premises offer EV charging, recycling points and energy saving lighting
While we already have good sustainability practices in place at our Sandbach office, the new office will further enhance our efforts with more dedicated charging points for electric and hybrid vehicles, energy-saving lighting, electric forklifts, and continued recycling measures. This all collates to creating a cleaner environment and reducing our carbon footprint.
Keith Wells, managing director at Quelfire, said: “The move to Spitfire Road is an exciting milestone for Quelfire. It not only supports our continued growth but also strengthens our commitment to protecting people and property with more space, better facilities, and sustainability measures. The new premises offer a modern environment that enables us to serve our customers more efficiently and create a better workplace for our team.”
