Re-flow 1.9 delivers a new wave of practical enhancements designed to give field operations greater clarity, control, and efficiency. Building on feedback from real users and industry-wide challenges, this update strengthens the digital foundations relied on by teams across the UK and Ireland
The benefit of field management software like Re-flow over bespoke systems is that it keeps on evolving and improving. Feature requests that come from one client are made available for others.
Re-flow 1.9 is released
Each Re-flow update, large and small, is driven by the needs of clients and the trends and challenges that affect the industry as a whole.
Re-flow 1.9 brings enhancements designed to build on the digital foundations already aiding thousands of users across the UK and Ireland. It makes further improvements to planning, visibility, and workflow efficiency across field operations.
Here’s what’s new – everything from granular event-level controls to smarter time tracking:

Event-level BoQ
You can now specify your Bill of Quantities (BoQ) for separate parts and sections of projects. So you can assign a BoQ for an overall job and then break it down further into individual tasks, giving you tighter control and better visibility than ever before. Compare estimates with actuals at every part of your work and gain true clarity of your loading lists. Plan expensive materials in better detail over a longer period of time. Reduce overspend and make billing easier.
Event-level locations & documents
Assigning locations to individual jobs on wider projects allows for more precise planning. Some contracts can run for years, so planning at the ‘event level’ level like this makes managing long-term projects intuitive and easy to manage. Assign relevant documents directly to specific tasks and collect data that better reflects real-world activity.

Hourly billing for hire items
Whether for emergency callouts, plant hire, or labour-based work, Re-flow now supports hourly billing for hire items, enabling more accurate and transparent billing that’s tailored specifically to each job.
Contracted vs. worked hours
For your staff, you can now record contracted hours per week and actual worked hours per day in each user’s profile.
This data feeds into the ‘Time & attendance report’ and works alongside the ‘Daily timesheet’ to calculate unworked and overtime hours – giving you deeper insights into how you’re utilising your workforce. It’s the kind of granular data that benefits clear strategic decision making.
Quartix telematics connector
Expanding Re-flow’s telematics capabilities, the software now integrates with Quartix. The functionality is identical to Re-flow’s Samsara connector – every few minutes, Re-flow fetches vehicle location data and timestamps from Quartix, allowing you to track the last 10-20 check-ins per vehicle in the schedule map view. With this feature, you always know where your fleet is – helping you keep your projects on schedule and your resources under control.
Ease-of-use improvements
- A new help button is now available on most of the dashboard pages, offering more directly useful information for the page at hand.
- A search bar on the settings page makes locating specific options quick and easy – just start typing and relevant settings will appear instantly.
That’s it for 1.9 – an update designed to give Re-flow users even more control, better visibility, and smoother navigation.
