Mace Consult’s European wing has seen several appointments in recent months: Louise Sunderland and Martyn Court joined in October as head of cities & places and London, and head of mobility respectively. Formerly of Arcadis, Rachael Saville became the programme and project management service lead for Europe in early November.
Davendra Dabasia, CEO Mace Consult, commented:
“Zoe has valuable operational and delivery expertise and is set to apply this knowledge and experience to drive positive outcomes for clients across all markets and service lines in our Europe hub.
“Her appointment is an early yet significant step as Mace Consult looks to an ambitious future as a stand-alone leading global delivery consultancy.”
Zoe Price, managing director of Europe, Mace Consult, added:
“With a sharp focus on service excellence for our clients, Mace Consult has enjoyed double digit growth in recent years, and I look forward to working with our talented teams across Europe to expand our footprint and deliver programmes that benefit communities across the hub.”
Mace Consult is currently being acquired by Goldman Sachs
Mace Group announced in the summer that it was carving out Mace Consult to garner a significant investment from Private Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives. Mace shareholders will retain a minority stake in Mace Consult and work with Goldman Sachs as members of a Mace Consult Board, led by Mace Group executive chair Mark Reynolds.
Jose Barreto, partner within Private Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives, commented: “We are delighted to invest in Mace Consult and accelerate its growth trajectory as an independent business both organically and through strategic acquisitions. Through the global Goldman Sachs network and value acceleration resources, we see the potential to support Mace in delivering critical client outcomes during this period of heightened uncertainty and transformation.
The deal was expected to close at the end of 2025, but has reportedly now been delayed to 2026.
