M-AR is opening the doors to the head office and offsite manufacturing facility in Hull for an open day on Wednesday 21 June. Attendees will get to see how M-AR operates and share ideas with each other
M-AR is an offsite contractor challenging industry norms, unlocking MMC’s full potential. They specialise in residential, education, and commercial sectors, managing design, build, installation, and aftercare.
M-AR has hosted several open days since the beginning of last year. The open days are open to all and past sessions have attracted a wide variety of attendees such as architects, specifiers, clients, students, suppliers and M-AR’s peers from the modular construction sector industry.
M-AR’s open days are open and transparent
M-AR’s core values of adopting a transparent approach are an important part of the open days. M-AR says this underpins everything they do.
In addition to observing M-AR’s offsite manufacturing processes in action through its ongoing live projects, the open days provide visitors with a comprehensive understanding of the entire process.
Attendees can see the initial arrival of raw materials to every step on the production line, where modules gradually take shape. Visitors can witness modules being finished, wrapped, loaded, and prepared for delivery to the designated site.
In keeping with M-AR’s approach, these events are designed to offer visitors an ‘access all areas’ experience. The tour oversees M-AR’s bustling 100,000 sq. ft factory, capable of producing up to 400 modules annually at maximum capacity.
M-AR has recently earned the recognition of being the third fastest-growing company in Yorkshire, due to its impressive operations and growth trajectory.
M-AR hope to revolutionise offsite manufacturing
M-AR is dedicated to changing the construction sector and advocating for the widespread adoption of MMC and modular construction. Encouraging collaboration across the industry is an important step in achieving this goal.
As an active member of Make UK Modular, M-AR is collaborating with other prominent modular manufacturers to instigate transformations in the construction sector. The aim is to make it environmentally friendly, highly efficient, and more inclusive for all stakeholders involved.
