Vision Groundworks and Civil Engineering Ltd is a fully integrated construction contractor specialising in groundworks, enabling works, reinforced contract works and heavy civils.
Services provided:
ProQS worked with Vision on the refurbishment of an industrial estate/warehouse in Aylesford, Kent.
This involved the removal and replacement of existing concrete slabs and the installation of subterranean drainage and services.
Prior to undertaking the contract, Vision had been considering appointing its own full-time, in-house quantity surveyor but then heard about ProQS through a personal recommendation.
Following a meeting between Russell Johnstone, Managing Director at Vision Groundworks and Civil Engineering Ltd and Kieron Waites, Director at ProQS, it became obvious that the commercial and contractual expertise the company possessed would prove advantageous to Vision, especially in relation to understanding the joint contracts tribunal (JCT) process and knowing how to use them to maximise benefits for the business.
Vision therefore instructed ProQS as the Quantity Surveyor on the project.
