Nemetschek has completed reshaping the senior management team, with Usman Shuja and Marc Nezet joining the new executive leadership team
Nemetschek’s executive leadership team (ELT) will allow the construction and media industry giant to be even more agile on future trends such as artificial intelligence (AI) and other key strategic focus areas such as customer-centric solution offerings and internationalisation.
Usman Shuja and Marc Nezet will join CEO Yves Padrines and CFO Louise Öfverström, as well as the chief division officers(CDO) of the Group’s strategic segments.
Jon Elliot will be stepping away from Nemetschek’s senior team
The previous head of the the Build & Construct Division, Jon Elliot, will remain with the company in an advisory role, but will be stepping down from this role.

Usman Shuja will lead Nemetschek’s Build & Construct Division
Most recently of Honeywell’s Connected Buildings, Usman Shuja will take on the CDO position and sit on the executive leadership team, as well as serving as CEO of Bluebeam.
Having served as vice president and general manager at Honeywell, Shuja has worked for the Boston Consulting Group, IBM and Dell and was a founding member of the AI unicorn, SparkCognition.

The Planning & Design Division will continue to be headed by César Flores Rodríguez. Rodríguez also remains in charge of the new Digital Twin business unit, which represents an important cross-sectional function in the Nemetschek Group.
Mac Nezet is taking charge of the Operate & Manage division
Taking over the role from César Flores Rodríguez, Marc Nezet will also become Nemetschek’s chief strategy officer(CSO), overseeing M&A, Venture Investments and Strategic Partnerships.
In a career spanning over two decades, Nezet has managed five major strategic acquisitions which positioned Schneider Electric among the leading software players in buildings and infrastructure across Engineering, Construction and Operations. Most recently, he held the position of senior vice president for the Industrial Cloud Platform Ecosystem of AVEVA Group.

In the Media & Entertainment Division, the Maxon brand continues to be led by CEO David McGavran, who is part of the ELT.
