BCM and Scaffteq are part of the Safe Rise Scaffolding Group, run by married business partner accountants David Hayde and Adele McLay

BCM Scaffolding Services and Scaffteq West, both scaffolding specialists, have filed administration notices.

BCM is based in South London, working on residential and commercial new build projects, refurbishments and utilities upgrades. Recent jobs on their website are valued between £160,000-£650,000.

Scaffteq West is based in Bristol and works across the south of England, with major housebuilders including Barratt Homes, Taylor Wimpey and David Wilson Homes.

There are an estimated 100 employees between the two scaffolding companies, whose jobs may be at risk after the dual administration notices.

Both firms are part of the Safe Rise Scaffolding group

The Safe Rise Scaffolding group was established in 2018 to “acquire high performing scaffolding companies across the UK.”

BCM and Scaffteq West were acquired by the umbrella brand in 2019 and are the only signings at the time of writing.

Safe Rise is run by husband and wife chartered accountants David Hayde and Adele McLay.
