President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is currently meeting with the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF) at the State House, Abuja. Though the agenda of the meeting could not be confirmed officially, it may be connected to the planned nationwide protest kicking off on August 1. The meeting, it was learned, is part of a desperate move to arrest the burgeoning momentum before it degenerates. Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF) and Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, is leading the team of governors to the meeting currently underway, along with the Chairman of Nigeria’s Governors’ Forum, Governor Abdulrazaq Abdulrahman of Kwara State.
