The Warsaw Trade Tower, in Poland, received the BREEAM Lifecycle Award for its approach to sustainability throughout the building’s lifespan.

Jonas, in the Netherlands, won two awards including the People’s Choice, for its zero-energy residential construction for 300 homes, and encompassing shelter, tradition, and shipbuilding in its harbourside location and architecture.

Jane Goddard, deputy CEO and managing director of building performance services at BRE, said: “We’re proud to celebrate some of the most impactful sustainability successes in the built environment at this year’s BREEAM Awards.

Adopting science-led approaches like BREEAM drives real-world value for businesses, investors and for society as a whole. It’s exciting to see how our award winners and the wider BREEAM community are embedding sustainability at the heart of their work, pushing boundaries with creativity and commitment.

With our global network of over 14,000 assessors championing high standards, we remain focused on accelerating progress towards a net zero future across the entire built environment.”
