The official announcement of the Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle film trilogy came shortly after the conclusion of the Hashira Training arc. Also, this sets the stage for the ultimate showdown between the Demon skaters and the demonic group masterminded by Muzan Kibutsuji.
In addition, Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment have acquired the international distribution rights of the trilogy. They will distribute the film worldwide excluding certain regions in Asia.

What the trailer tells us about the film
The trailer shows the series’ protagonist, Tanjiro Kamado, falling into the ominous Infinity Castle. Along with the seven Hashira, the elite Demon Slayer group. They’ll be joined by their demon ally Tamayo. The trailer came with the caption, “The All-Out War Begins.”

The Infinity Castle arc which consists of 47 chapters in the original manga will be turned into a trilogy of full-length films. This will be unlike the previous Demon Slayer film release which was shorter in duration.
“Mugen Train,” Demon Slayer’s previous film is the highest-grossing Japanese film of all time. It earned over $500 million worldwide. The Infinity Castle trilogy seeks to continue this streak of cinematic success. It’ll bring the most intense battles to the big screen.
