A Kano High Court sitting at Audu Bako Secretariat on Tuesday adjourned hearing in a suit filed by the presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Dr. Rabiu Kwankwaso, against the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) till October 24, 2024. Kwankwaso and six others had filed a fundamental rights suit against the anti-corruption agency, challenging its violation of their fundamental rights as guaranteed by the Constitution of the Federal Republic. The former Kano State governor had secured an interim order granted by Justice Yusuf Ubale Muhammad of the State High Court, restraining the EFCC and its agents
