Popular Twitch streamer, Kai Cenat, had his streaming room set on fire during a live broadcast in the early hours of July 4, 2024.
Though Cenat himself did not directly cause the fire, it was started by his friend and fellow streamer, Davis, who was present in the room at the time.
What went down
The stream began normally, with Cenat hosting celebrity guest and fellow streamer, Mr Beast. During the stream, a bunch of fireworks could be seen behind them all over the room.
However, after Mr Beast’s departure, Kai’s friend, Davis, entered the room carrying a lighter, attempting to light up a firework.
Despite Cenat’s attempts to stop him, Davis proceeded to light one of the fireworks. Doing this set off a chain reaction that affected the other fireworks, quickly engulfing the room in flames.
Kai Cenat, who is known for his loud and dramatic on-screen persona, could be seen fleeing the room alongside Davis as the fire continued. The stream then cut out abruptly.
Furthermore, this incident is the latest among the series of disruptive antics associated with Cenat’s streams.
In the past, the streamer has been known to engage in destructive behavior, such as breaking his own Twitch setup during a Fortnite session. However, this latest incident has taken things to a new level.
Additionally, some viewers who are not new to Kai Cenat’s live streams have suggested that the entire incident may have been staged. They have pointed out slight differences between Cenat’s regular streaming room and the one in the fireworks live stream.
