Muse has been selected by Bristol Temple Quarter LLP (BTQ LLP) as its preferred development partner for Temple Meads West and St Philip’s Marsh
The appointment positions Muse to deliver 10,000 homes, commercial space, and key public realm and connectivity upgrades across the area.
Muse will initially focus on Temple Meads West, covering:
- Land adjacent to the station at the Friary
- City Point building and multistorey car park at Temple Gate
- Vacant land at Lower Station Approach
- Portwall Lane car park
- An outline planning application is being developed, with submission expected early 2027.
In parallel, Muse will support BTQ LLP with long-term proposals for new homes and jobs at St Philip’s Marsh, helping unlock wider development potential across Temple Quarter.
Lyn Garner, chair, Bristol Temple Quarter LLP, said: “This is a major milestone for the transformation of Bristol Temple Quarter. Over the last decade, the BTQ partners have worked closely on a shared vision for the area.
“Now, alongside significant infrastructure improvements already being made by the BTQ LLP, our ambitions will be accelerated by our new partner, who can bring their expertise to bear to bring inclusive and sustainable growth to people in the city-region.”
