Ndukwe Onuoha, a Nigerian advertising executive and spoken word poet, has been appointed as the new Cabinet Member for Streetpride, Public Safety & Leisure in Derby City Council. This appointment follows his election as first African councillor for Mackworth & New Zealand Ward in Derby City, United Kingdom (UK), under Labour Party last year.
