A variety of project wins across Liverpool worth almost £70m in total have been celebrated by Steven Hunt Associates
Mechanical and electrical engineering specialists Steven Hunt Associates have secured a variety of project wins worth a cumulative £68m, with the majority of developments located in Liverpool.
The news follows a significant expansion of senior leadership, with four directors joining the firm in 2022. Neil Baines, Dave Kelly, Anne King and Dominic Sibbring all joined the Liverpool-based company, which will celebrate their 35th anniversary next year.
Education, residential and a musuem are amongst the project wins
The project wins are largely located in the North West of England, with the majority in the firm’s hometown of Liverpool. They include:
the deconstruction of the old Royal Liverpool University Hospital, costing roughly £15m
£4m worth of council projects across Rochdale
a £27m project invovling the remodelling of the International Slavery Museum with the National Museum of Liverpool, modernising existing services and driving sustainability
£10m worth of projects for Sandway Homes
various projects with the University of Liverpool, such as a £7m extension to the Sydney Jones Library
Previous projects delivered include the Urgent Care and Trauma Centre at Aintree hospital, the University of Liverpool Cypress Building and School of Management and Novotel Paddington Village.
