The Nigeria Veterinary Medical Association, (NVMA) Kogi Chapter, on Wednesday advocated for the creation of Ministry of Livestock Development in Kogi. Dr Tolu Omotugba, the State NVMA Chairman, at a press conference in Lokoja, urged Kogi Government to replicate the livestock ministry similar to the one created by President Bola Tinubu at the federal level. Omotugba also urged Gov. Ahmed Ododo of Kogi to consider appointing a credible veterinarian as the ministry’s commissioner, when created.
